Marriage, Family, and Sex Therapy
Relational, Cultural, and Intimacy-Focused Care
I am Sugkora, a Marriage, Family, and Sex Therapist committed to helping individuals, couples, and families build meaningful emotional and intimate connections. With a Master of Social Work and a Master of Education in Human Sexuality from Widener University, my work centers the ways culture, identity, personal history, and relationships shape how we love, communicate, and experience pleasure. I support survivors of sexual assault and trauma, couples navigating desire differences or disconnection, individuals exploring sensuality and identity, and families working through communication challenges, boundaries, and generational patterns. My practice is deeply rooted in serving BIPOC communities, honoring each client’s lived experience with respect and fullness.
I offer an affirming, sex-positive environment for clients within kink, polyamorous, queer, and LGBTQ+ communities, grounded in the belief that intimacy takes many forms and deserves to be met with curiosity and clinical care. My therapeutic approach integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy to strengthen emotional bonds, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support insight and regulation, and the Gottman Method to enhance communication and relationship health. Clients describe me as warm, grounded, and intuitive, and I strive to create a space where you can slow down, listen inwardly, and make intentional choices about love, sex, and connection. Whether you are reclaiming sensuality, healing from trauma, or reshaping relational patterns within your family, I am here to provide steady, nonjudgmental support as you move toward a sense of connection that feels safe, intentional, and aligned with who you are.
