The platform is available through the internet and allows you to actually see and connect with your therapist from wherever you feel comfortable. Essentially you can meet with your therapist from the comfort of your home in your PJ’s. Eventhough you are separated via physical space you will still get to see your therapist and build a therapeutic connection that will help foster growth and safety.
What to Expect if You Elect Virtual Sessions?
You therapist will make contact with you via phone call to make sure they understand your needs, goals, and to make sure you both are a great fit. The therapist will walk you though your options with virtual therapy and if chosen will teach you how to access and maneuver around the platform. After the phone session your therapist will send you paperwork to you via email and set you up virtually to be able to download the app or platform needed for session.
